Jayme Alaimo, Sales Associate - Jayme began at the ReStore as an intern, working through the Mass. Career Development Institute, Inc. where she earned her Office Systems Technology Certificate. Her versatile skills and friendly manner impressed everyone at the store, and she is now a full-time Sales Associate and Office Assistant. She has retail experience, office experience and is an excellent customer service provider.
Dave Giese, Deconstruction Supervisor - Dave is a Licensed Contractor Supervisor. Dave has an extensive background as a driver for non-profit agencies such as the Opportunity Council in Bellingham, Washington and the Multi-Service Center in Bothel, Washington. He has also worked as a weatherization expert. He has a B.S. in Environmental and Resource engineering from SUNY School of Environmental Science and Forestry.
John Grossman, ReStore Manager - John oversees daily operations at the store. He is also developing expansion plans for all aspects of the enterprise. Before joining the ReStore team he was a customer at the ReStore, where he bought many items to remodel his new home in Holyoke. Previously John managed and owned children’s nurseries and Kidsgyms. He has also worked as a childcare management consultant to the fitness industry. He earned a B.A. in English from the University of Rochester.
Thomas Jakubasz, ReStore Staff - Thomas is a part of our Deconstruction Team and is a Sales Associate. Thomas comes to the ReStore with an excellent background in building materials and customer service. Before working here he was at the Home Depot. He brings a strong mission commitment to the table in addition to his hard working style.
Jeff MacFarlane, Senior Staff - Jeff is critical to day-to-day operations on the floor at the ReStore and is also part of the Deconstruction Team. He is responsible for inventorying donated materials and achieving customer satisfaction. He helped refurbish our current 8,500 sf retail space. Jeff has worked with a non-profit forestry conservation organization and as a contractor. He received a B.S. in Forestry Conservation in 2000 from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
John Majercak, ReStore Director - John has been employed at CET since 1991. He has developed and provided oversight to successful CET solid waste programs including the ReStore, on-farm and on-site commercial, institutional and school composting and recycling demonstration projects. He has contributed articles to Resource Recycling and BioCycle magazines, and was featured in Resources Recycling's "Up and Coming Leaders in Recycling." Past experience includes research and development in the biotechnology industry. John received a B.A. in Biology from Cornell University.
Dani Martin, Communications Staff - Dani started as a part time administrative assistant in the office and took over with her great visual skills, passion for spreading the word and knowledge of home improvement materials. She has been a property manager for several years in Holyoke. She is constantly restoring her historic apartment. She has an Associates Degree in Fine Arts and she has studied photography and design at UMass.
Betsy Mason, ReStore Staff- Betsy has worked in the landscaping business for over 10 years specializing in garden, floral and stone design. She is an avid do-it-yourselfer and a committed recycler. She brings her creativity, attention to detail and excellent customer service to our team.
Natural Nargi, Assistant Manager Natural has an extensive background in retail management and customer service. She has lived and managed all over the world. Most recently she was the head cashier at a local home improvement center so she has extensive knowledge of building materials.
